When most healthcare systems were focused on volume-based growth instead of value-based growth, Carolinas got ahead of the curve by finding the synergies in addressing both. This strategic growth and operational excellence methodology combined a top down Strategic Planning with a bottom up operational design approach, underpinned by Lean Methodologies. Deeply rooted in data analytics, improvement opportunities were designed by the front lines and Voice of the Customer and spread throughout the enterprise. Our expertise and deep respect for the complexities of implementing operational and behavioral change on the front lines enabled our successful and sustainable results.
